I have often been asked why I did not write earlier. The question is fair. The journey was long, the experiences many, and the urge to record them was always present in some quiet corner of the mind.
Perhaps the answer lies in timing. When one is busy building a life—earning, raising a family, navigating responsibilities—there is little space to pause and look back. The days move forward insistently, and reflection feels like a luxury one cannot afford.
Now, standing at a distance from those urgencies, the need is different. It is no longer about proving, achieving, or arriving somewhere. It is about understanding—how a life shaped by displacement, effort, and chance gradually found its own bearings, and how beliefs changed course along the way.
This blog is not an attempt to settle accounts with the past, nor to present a neatly resolved narrative. It is simply a space to jot down memories, travels, and reflections as they surface—sometimes clearly, sometimes imperfectly. If these fragments resonate with others, especially those who have walked similar paths, that will be reason enough.
